Out of the Blue marks the first public London presentation of Morus Art Group, a new cultural initiative founded by collector and patron Alya Entts.
Curated by Valeria Gorbova, the exhibition brings together Olya Avstreyh, Felix James, Anush Malkhasyan and Igor Baskakov, exploring the formative stages through which an artistic career begins to take shape — from potential and first recognition to mentorship and independent professional practice.
Olya Avstreyh is a 2026 TEARS / Tracey Emin Artist Residency Purchase Prize winner; Felix James is a 2026 Goldsmiths graduate and Neville Burston Prize recipient; Anush Malkhasyan is currently studying Fine Art at Goldsmiths; and Italy-based artist Igor Baskakov presents a new series commissioned by Morus Art Group.
The exhibition considers the role of trust, mentorship and patronage in allowing new artistic voices to develop, and how knowledge and opportunity can be transferred between generations.
Morus Art Group works across collecting, patronage, artist support, advisory and cultural production, with a focus on building long-term relationships around artists and their work.
