Opening it’s doors way back in 1759, The British Museum London was the first national museum to cover all fields of human knowledge. The doors are open for everyone and it is free entry for the public but any donations are always appreciated and go a very long way. The Museum is driven by an insatiable curiosity for the world as well as the desire to expand and share knowledge. They have bought the cultures of the whole world spanning back to the beginning together all under one roof. No other museum is responsible for collections of the same depth and breadth, beauty and significance. With over 8 million objects now housed at The British Museum London, we can explore the amazing diversity and expression humans have given to every aspect of life.
