Salon Hijab is an Award-Winning Salon uniquely catering to women. Men aren’t allowed into our premises so you can rest easy. The salon was established in the early 2000s, and we always focus on the needs of our clients to create the best possible results. We’ve created a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the salon, and this is coupled with a commitment to helping each client leave with the look they desire. In 2015, Salon Hijab Academy opened its doors to its training academy. This academy has now become an established part of the business and has helped create opportunities for countless women.

Salon Hijab Academy is a women’s only academy located in Stanmore and affiliated with Stanmore College. We offer a range of accredited courses as part of the Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT). These qualifications are mapped to the VRQ and NVQ curriculum courses and to the latest National Occupational Standards (NOS). The courses are further recognised by the UK’s leading professional bodies; The Hair Council and The British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC). The Academy offers Public Funding toward Level 2 & 3 NVQ Diplomas, subject to eligibility. Our classes operate two days a week, making our courses flexible to fit in with your busy schedules.

All theoretical and practical training is taught in a supportive learning environment. Academy students will be given work experience as part of their learning within our commercial salon to develop their skills and customer service to curve their path leading onto employment. We also arrange exciting enrichment opportunities for all our students.
