Brain Tumor Charity London

Welcome To In Sues Name

Brain Cancer Charity London

Founded in 2014 by David Taylor, In Sue’s Name is a brain cancer charity which was created in memory of David’s beloved daughter Sue Blasotta, who died in 2011 of brain tumours. She died just 6 weeks after receiving her diagnosis. Brain tumours are especially tragic as they tend to strike young people. This cancer is a bigger killer of people under 40 than any other form of cancer. Furthermore, brain cancer is continuing to increase year on year and more stories being told similar to Sue’s, it seems even more urgent now to start campaigning to increase the funding for research into brain tumors.

We give thanks to our dedicated team of fundraisers and administrators. Many friends and family of Sue and others like her, all victims of this terrible disease. We’re determined to fight!

Brain Cancer Charity In London

Since brain tumors kills more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, we were shocked to know that less than 1% of government funding is devoted to research into this form of cancer. That is the drive of In Sue’s Name. We had to take matters into our own hands. Our aim is to now only raise money to go towards research but to bring more awareness to this devastating disease. Additionally we want bring together families and friends who have lost a loved one to brain cancer.

The goal is to raise £1 million over the next ten years towards this vital research. This research is being carried out at the Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence in the Blizzard Institute. Which is part of Queen Mary University of London in Whitechapel.
